Eating FOOD!!!

The past few weeks have been full of fun and adventure for Savannah. She has settled in nicely to eating solid food!! Her diet has expended to include bannanas, avacado, and sweet potatoes. Today I had Savannah and Hadyn (Savannah's cousin that is 22 months old)...they both enjoyed sweet potatoes and had tons of fun playing together.

So the next thing I know Hadyn is leaning over to try to feed Savannah.......

We headed out to Morden to visit with Cathy and Chris (Karen's sister and her boyfriend).....it is a quick ride, only 1 1/2 hour or so. We had a great time...thanks for putting up with us!

We were first blessed with snow on October 30th.....so I thought it would be appropriate to play in the snow with Savannah.....our little southern girl.

She doesn't really enjoy her snowsuit that much......it is more like a body cast!

Welcome to Halle Van Twyver

Savannah and I travelled to Saskatchewan for Thanksgiving weekend in October, and were lucky to meet a new friend, Halle Van Twyver.....here are a few photos of our newest friend.

First few days in Winnipeg.....

Jeff was able to stay in Winnipeg for a week.....to help us settle in, and also to catch up with family, friends, and sleep.

Well as many of you know we bought a practice in Winnipeg...... The 3 of us packed up and headed north one late September night. Savannah did extremely will on the drive. She loves her stainless steel sippy cup (no leaching of dangerous estrogen mimickers like the plastic sippy cups). We left Marietta Friday night at about 11 p.m., arrived in Chicago to catch lunch with Jenesn....then continued on our way to Winnipeg. A quick stop at the border and we were at our final destination by about 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Saskatchewan July 29th - August 9th, 2006

So we're off again!! Savannah's second trip out of the country and she is just 5 months old. Grandma and Granpa Boden bought Savannah and I a flight home for a much needed, and long overdue visit. THANK YOU!!!! We had a fabulous time and can't wait to go back. Not too much longer and we will be a lot closer!

Out to the farm we go where we relaxed, ate, visited, hung out on the swing, played, ate, slept, ate fresh peas and raspberries, visited, played, and ate some more! What a great way to spend a week!

We spent an afternoon at the lake with Uncle Darrel and Auntie Alice, Denise, Matthew, Tessa, Trey, Wes and Leah, Grandpa John, and Vickie and Andreas from Germany. We had a blast and can't wait to visit again soon! Here Savannah is hanging out with Tessa out of the sun.

Look at my teeth!! The first one came in on July the 11th, and the second only a few days later....at 4 1/2 months!! Now they are all the way up and show up nicely if I give a big smile. CHEESE!!!!

On the road again......Julain and Savannah are travelling buddies! Here we are on the way back to Saskatoon to fly back to Atlanta......only a few more months and we will be moving back to Canada (we can't wait!!!).
