During the last weekend in March the Seneys (Doug and Shannon) came for a visit. We kept busy explring the rich southern history.....something Jeff and I have never done before. A big thankyou to Shannon for opening our eyes to the civil war (those damn yanks!) and discovering venues that are right in our back yard that we didn't know existed (The Smith plantation). Below are a few of the photos, hope you enjoy!!!

Jeff, Savannah, Shannon and Karen in the Marietta Square.

Neka keeping a close eye on Savannah in her new swing (Thank you Granny Lorna!)

The Swan house, an impressive house build in the 1920s in what is now the Buckhead area of Atlanta. This is located on the Atlanta History Museum property that also has exhibits about the civil war, art history, Bobby Jones and a commercial trade exhibit. We spent the better part of the day here learning lots of interesting facts.

Papa Doug and Savannah

Savannah was conveniently born right before Jeff had finals and board exams.....so here they are studying together, or maybe Jeff is just porcrastinating?!?
